Board rules

These rules are disclosed to clarify the various responsibilities of all community members here on MCRetro. They shall be adhered to by everyone to ensure that our board runs smoothly and provides a fun and productive experience for all of our community members and visitors.

  1. Be respectful

    1. Every member of this community is expected to show respect to other users. This means that you should not be overly harsh with criticism, do not give criticism where it is not asked for, and do not be creepy or rude. #
    2. Any kind of discrimination will result in an immediate and permanent ban from the forum. This board is explicitly LGBTQIA+ friendly. Any form of transphobia, homophobia, racism, or other methods of discrimination will not be tolerated under any circumstances. #
    3. Moderators and Administrators have full permission to remove disrespectful posts. However, they are also held to the same standard as all other members of the forum. If a moderator is being unfair or disrespectful, notify Tori immediately by email (toriahall7@gmail.com), or on Discord (@transgendernerd). #

  2. No Low-Effort Posts

    1. A low effort post is something that (a) is a shitpost or meme, or (b) has zero effort featuring low quality or unoriginal content (Think about the repeated Herobrine shitposts on r/GoldenAgeMinecraft) #
    2. Spam or duplicate posts are also considered low-effort content and are subject to removal. If you are asking for help with an issue, please ensure that you first look for existing posts that have the same issue before creating your own. If your post is a duplicate, it will be subject to removal at a Moderator or Administrator's discretion. #
    3. AI generated content is considered low-effort and is subject to removal, especially if it is not declared to be generated by an AI. AI generated content is allowed in small amounts if it is not the main focus of your post, but content posted must be mostly created yourself. #

  3. No NSFW Content

    1. No form of NSFW content, including, but not limited to, Nudity, Sexual content or gore, will be subject to immediate removal, alongside the permanent banning of your account. This is non-negotiable. #
