I want to play with people whom I can befriend, not just any open beta server full of random people who dont talk.
Preferably it would be nice if its beta 1.7.3 but I dont mind older versions either. By vanilla I mean no new content, I dont mind essentials and such.

Larger builds in these versions always look so cool, but I can never find the motivation to keep going with them whenever I try. How do you keep going with them?
