Hello, nice to see new people here. I like to discuss Minecraft and see community creations. I first played this game in release 1.5.2 and have enjoyed it since. Recently I explored older versions of the game because Modern updates feel corporate and boring. I found pre releases of MC to have an awesome charm and balanced gameplay, fun bugs too. I loved many mods for this game including Forge mods and jar mods like BTW, NSSS, TMCW, BTA...
I was inspired and even created my own mod for beta 1.7.3 with the goal of adding cool features, backporting some things I miss from other versions, finishing and polishing existing features and adding my own ideas. Anyway, this game and players are amazing, love you all <3

hello! i'm OnTheHill and I started playing minecraft in late 2012 (i think my first verison was full release 1.3.2). i've always been interested in the older versions, mainly because the videos i used to like watching - like the Yogscast's survival / Shadow of Israphel series - were played on these versions. over the last month or two i've been playing on a world on alpha 1.2.6, which I'll probably share screenshots of soon. I also made a custom texture pack for this version

Hey everyone! I'm Connor. I'm currently living in Hokkaido, Japan! I've been playing Minecraft since about 2012 and definitely lean towards the versions that I grew up with in place of modern. It's been cool seeing the revival of old school Minecraft outside of the small pocket of the golden age minecraft subreddit. As well as nostalgia for old MC versions, I miss forums terribly, so I was really thrilled to see Tori launching this! Looking forward to getting to know you guys!
