I was looking through the terrain.png for Indev in-20100223, and found something quite interesting, some unused textures for chairs! I thought this was quite cool and decided to share it.
Does anyone else know any small little unused features, or just any other cool bits of little-known information about old Minecraft versions? I'd love to know!

Re: Unused chair texture in indev
oh this is right up my wheelhouse.
sticking on theme with indev, diamonds were initially going to be emeralds instead, before quickly being replaced in the next update! smelting was also added around the same time, but rather than using furnaces, you would just toss your ores into some fire or lava, and an ingot would pop out. to make sure you can collect your items consistently, lava had its ability to destroy them removed, meaning items would bounce around the lava pool indefinitely until you pick them up, it looks very silly lol.

Here's one: 2char.png, which might be hard to spot on a white background as it's a completely white player skin. This is from Alpha 1.1.2_01 but I'm sure it exists in a range of versions. I don't think anyone knows where this came from or what it was for.
As far as that chair goes, think you could add it to alpha advanced?

I remember seeing this years ago
in some video about Minecraft facts
however I didn't knew this texture was
all the way back in indev
really making you think what notch planned
for the game vs what actually happened
